Kentucky - Monday Night

We finished our first full day of ministry in Kentucky by spending some time at a local park with the kids. All of our students did a great job of getting out of their comfort zones & playing with the kids.

When we returned to the church, we spent some time together as a group. One of the crossroads staff members challenged us to think about "where we saw God at work today or where did you see God today?" We were challenged to shift our perspective from being inward focused, about our needs, to being outward focused, the needs of others. We need to have the right positive attitude and perspective to see "God moments" in everyday life! Many of our students felt challenged to work on having a more positive attitude no matter what the day might bring!

What a great start to the week! Please keep praying for us as we serve in the heat and humidity of the summer. We want to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the people of Appalachia!
